WHEN YOU BEGIN TO DATING by Elisabeth Dabbelt
If you are new to the “dating game” or reentering it after years of marriage or
relationship involvement, there are certain types of advice that will serve you. If you are
hesitant to seek and take advice, understand that virtually everyone needs help when
dating. Even sophisticated celebrities need help learning how to make the dating game
work. The important thing is to understand the process of dating and understand your own
purpose for dating. This will help you date successfully attract the types of people you want
to date. For more information contact Elisabeth Dabbelt, CEO - Elite Introductions, LLC.

Since there is no “one size fits all” approach to dating and for obtaining an enviable
relationship, it is important to research and study the subject, so that you are never at a
loss during the awkward moments on the first dates with someone. As you prepare to date
ask yourself some honest questions:
| 1. |
Are you psychologically prepared for dating? Again, research the dating game and
think your answer through. Understand that dating involves rejection and having the
pressure of rejecting. Make sure that you are committed to the idea of experiencing
rejection.
|
| 2. |
Are you physically prepared for dating? Do you look your best? Make sure your hair
and health regimes are in order. Get into a fitness program and, if you need to do
so, take of f a few pounds. Remember the importance of grooming in regard to hair,
dress, fingernails and toenails. Enjoy the confidence that comes from being “well
turned out.” If you need to do so, ask a trusted friend or hire a consultant or
professional matchmaker For more information contact Elisabeth Dabbelt, CEO - Elite Introductions, LLC.

work wonders for impressing your dates.

| 3. |
What is your goal for dating? Do you want marriage? For more information contact Elisabeth Dabbelt, CEO - Elite Introductions, LLC.
www.elitesingleprofessionals.com; Email - EDabbelt@bellsouth.net ; Do you want to cultivate friendships? Are you ready to set a timetable for finding a spouse, or are you just looking to have fun with
lots of people and perhaps have casual, uncommitted sex? If the later is your goal,
you must be completely honest with anyone you are dating. Whatever your goal,
make sure you put yourself in a positive environment to meet your dating goal.
Frequent singles locations. Events full of married couples are fun, but there are no
opportunities to meet potential dates. Clubs, social and interest groups, sporting or
theatrical events will put you in a location to meet single people with whom you have
common interests. Focus on your goal.
|
| 4. |
Are you prepared to enjoy dating for what it really is? Dating is like being an actor
who has to audition for a living in order to be able to fulfill the goal of being selected
for a part in a play or movie. The more an actor auditions, the closer he/she comes
to getting the role, maybe even the role of a lifetime. Remember that practice
makes perfect. Be committed to the idea of dating and enjoy the experience of
meeting new and interesting people even if they are not “the one.”
